Deep Field Synthesis by Sarah Weaver

Deep Field Synthesis is a long-form network large ensemble piece on contemplative concepts of networked synchrony utilizing intuitive gesture, composition, and improvisation. The piece is performed by the NowNet Arts Hub, an international virtual contemporary arts performance group. The Hub is open to contemporary musicians, actors, dancers, and live visual/video artists.

Synthesis Series is a collection of solo, chamber, and large ensemble pieces on contemplative concepts of networked synchrony across realities, transformation of distance, and synthesis activation for healing and transcendence. This concert will feature works from the series titled "Sound in Peace", "Interpolation Space", and "Isomorphic Now". The performance utilizes JackTrip network audio technology. Ensemble recordings available at SyncSource Label.

This concert is supported by the City Artist Corps Grants program, presented by The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA), with support from the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) as well as Queens Theatre.

NowNet Arts Ensemble premieres contemporary network arts works by composer Sarah Weaver for pioneering musicians in New York, California, and Switzerland performing together live via the internet. With collaborations spanning over fifteen years in network arts, NowNet Arts Ensemble expresses works at the forefront of the medium and artistic interconnection. "Synthesis Series" is a collection of solo, chamber, and large ensemble pieces on contemplative concepts of networked synchrony across realities, transformation of distance, and synthesis activation for healing and transcendence. The concert audio will take place utilizing JackTrip network music technology.
